Europe's digital economy is heavily reliant on Asia's rapidly growing and technologically advanced digital sector. Recently, new avenues for extensive cross-financing have been set up through the EU Tech Business Offer to strategically support digital industries in Asia. To present the EU Tech Business Offer to Asian companies, the German Federal Ministry for Digital Transformation and Government Modernisation (BMDS) and GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH) will host an event during the Asia Berlin Summit.

The event will explore the opportunities of the EU Tech Business Offer for Asian companies, startups and tech investors. The EU Tech Business Offer is a new EU instrument that aims to pool public and private investment to promote digital transformation projects in partner countries.

We look forward to welcoming you to the following programme:

• Marc Lendermann, Head of Division Bilateral Digital Policy at BMDS, will present Germany's digital policy cooperation with Asia. He will provide insights into BMDS’ strategy on fostering international cooperation in the digital domain.
• Olivier Bringer from the Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CNECT) at the European Commission will elaborate on the EU Tech Business Offer. He will explain how this initiative supports the growth of tech companies and fosters cross-border innovation in the digital economy.
• A panel discussion will explore challenges and opportunities for Asian companies in the global digital market. Experts will discuss strategies for overcoming specific hurdles and leveraging opportunities to enhance competitiveness and growth.
