3rd Annual Meeting of the Brazilian-German Digital Dialogue

On 14 September 2023, the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) and the German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV) will hold the 3rd Annual Meeting of the Brazilian-German Digital Dialogue in Brasília. The meeting takes place from 10:40 to 12:50 BRT / 15:40 to 17:50 CEST.
For the third time, Brazil and Germany will celebrate the bilateral dialogue aimed to align framework conditions and to establish international standards of governance and regulation for the digitalisation of the economy.
The Annual Meeting of the Brazilian-German Digital Dialogue will bring together high-level government representatives, technical experts and private sector stakeholders from both countries. The goal is to assess the progress made in the implementation of the bi-annual Work Plan and address further potential of cooperation in the following areas:
- Relevant topics on Internet Governance
- Data Space Initiative
- Policies, state capabilities and opportunities for cooperation in Artificial Intelligence
- Building up Quantum Computing Ecosystems
- Twin Transition
Stakeholders are also encouraged to address opportunities for cooperation in any other areas that may be related to the Brazilian-German Digital Dialogue.
Stefan Schnorr, German State Secretary of BMDV, alongside Henrique Miguel, Secretary of Science and Technology for Digital Transformation of MCTI, will co-chair the meeting.
The meeting will be held in a hybrid format. Due to limited space, registration to on-site attendance is no longer available. However, we do encourage an online participation via Webex. You can register for the event using the form below.
