4th Annual Meeting of the German-Brazilian Digital Dialogue

Berlin / Online; 15:00–17:00 (CEST) / 10:00-12:00 (BRT)

On 11 October 2024, the German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV) and the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) will hold the 4th Annual Meeting of the German-Brazilian Digital Dialogue in Berlin. The meeting takes place from 15:00 to 17:00 (CEST) / 10:00 to 12:00 (BRT).

For the fourth time, Germany and Brazil will celebrate the bilateral dialogue aimed to align framework conditions and to establish international standards of governance and regulation for the digitalisation of the economy and the society.

The Annual Meeting of the German-Brazilian Digital Dialogue will bring together high-level government representatives, technical experts and private sector stakeholders from both countries. Stefan Schnorr, German State Secretary of the BMDV, alongside Henrique Miguel, Secretary of Science and Technology for Digital Transformation of MCTI, will co-chair the meeting.

The goal is to assess the progress made in the implementation of the bi-annual Work Plan and address further potential for cooperation in the areas described in the Work Plan.

Stakeholders are also encouraged to address opportunities for cooperation in any other areas that may be related to the Brazilian-German Digital Dialogue.

The meeting will be held in a hybrid format and simultaneous translation Portuguese-German will be provided. To improve interaction between stakeholders of the Dialogue, onsite attendance in Berlin is highly appreciated. Due to limited space, if you plan on attending onsite, we kindly ask you to register until 02 October.
