GBS Roadshow in Germany in May 2025

Get to know the IT Environment in Europe & make contacts to European clients.

The Kenyan-German Digital Dialogue, Partners in Transformation, Invest for Jobs and the Digital Transformation Centre (DTC) Kenya are organising a GBS Roadshow in Germany which includes participation at the GITEX Europe trade fair. The delegation will consist of companies from Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, and Tunisia. The goal is to showcase the potential of African BPO/ITO companies and fostering business relationships with German/European clients.

• Showcase your company with a dedicated space at the Africa pavilion at the GITEX Europe trade fair on 21-23 May 2025 (72sqm exhibition space for participating companies free of charge)  
• Pitch at the innovation hour to showcase what Africa and your company has to offer as a GBS outsourcing destination
• Pre-arranged B2B meetings with potential clients- individually tailored according to your offer through the support of GIZ and a German consultant  
• Free congress and exhibitor pass for the entire GITEX conference

• Additional two-day programme (19.05. in Berlin and 20.05. in Hamburg) with dedicated B2Bs and networking activities tailored to the participating companies

Services included in the activity

• Matchmaking service: B2B meetings with potential clients from Europe and Germany
• Africa Pavilion at GITEX Europe with dedicated space for each company and that can be used for B2B talks  
• Guided Germany visit and professional guidance throughout the program  
• Support in logistical matters, this includes the invitation letter for your visa application  
• Entrance ticket to the GITEX trade fair and conference

Services not included (to be covered individually by the participants)

• Flight cost for return journey to Berlin and back  
• Hotel / accommodation during your stay
• Airport transfers in Kenya and Berlin
• Cost for visa, travel insurance, etc. occurring prior to travel
• Cost for food and personal care (pocket money) during your stay  

Please note:

Company representatives must have good English skills. The number of participants is limited and GIZ will select the most suitable companies based on the application form criteria. GIZ will organize individualized B2B meetings. Therefore, signing up to this guided mission requires a high commitment by your company.
