Hannover Messe 2022: Expert Roundtable on Industrial Data Spaces
Hannover Messe
On 1 June 2022, selected experts will exchange on the topic of industrial data spaces under the auspices of the German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV). Within the framework of BMDV's Digital Dialogues, high-ranking representatives of the public and private sector will meet at an exclusive roundtable.
After a long restriction to digital formats, Hannover Messe 2022 opens up new opportunities for intensive exchange and networking. BMDV's Digital Dialogues invite its stakeholders to discuss industrial data spaces in the trade fair's conference centre.
Invited experts will discuss framework conditions for data spaces at international level. The participants are from Germany, Mexico, Brazil, Japan and India. They represent, among others, the International Data Spaces Association (IDSA), the largest Indian IT association NASSCOM, the Brazilian National Confederation of Industry (CNI), Fraunhofer Institute for Transportation and Infrastructure Systems IVI, Siemens and Cyient. Benjamin Brake, Director General Digital and Data Policy at BMDV, will open the roundtable.
Identification of key topics for International Digital Dialogues
The experts will discuss topics such as data governance, framework conditions and cyber security. They will share best practices and challenges in implementing industrial data spaces in their respective countries and companies. This will enable a common understanding of the differences and similarities of industrial data spaces. Guiding questions include how industrial data spaces impact competition and innovation.
In addition to the cross-border exchange of experiences, the aim of the event is to identify key topics, synergy potentials and cooperation projects for the Digital Dialogues with the partner countries India, Brazil, Mexico and Japan.
The main results of the discussion will be published here on the Digital Dialogues website.
