Virtual exchange on national digital strategies of Indonesia and Germany
Online; 09:00-11:00 (CEST) / 14:00-16:00 (UTC+7)
The German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV) and the Indonesian Ministry of Communications and Informatics (MCI) cooperate within the German-Indonesian Digital Dialogue. The aim is to shape better framework conditions for the digital transformation through exchange and cooperation. The Digital Dialogue provides a platform to bring together policy makers, regulators and stakeholders from business, academia and civil society. The regular exchange on relevant topics between the ministries and stakeholders ensures that political approaches and solutions for the digital transformation meet current needs and make economic sense.
Therefore, BMDV and MCI cordially invite interested stakeholders to the virtual exchange on national digital strategies of Indonesia and Germany. The event will take place on Thursday, 31 August 2023 from 09:00 to 11:00 (DEU: UTC+2) / 14:00 to 16:00 (IDN: UTC+7) in English.
During the session, BMDV and MCI will inform about their respective national digital strategies and share insights into their digital landscape, policies and opportunities. This will foster the exchange of best practices and experiences, and the formulation of potential policy recommendations. You will have the opportunity to share your experiences and expectations and engage in discussions during the Q&A session.
The aim of the event is to deepen the bilateral cooperation and promote the development of robust digital ecosystems that can drive economic growth, innovation and societal well-being. The Digital Dialogue will serve as a platform to strengthen the ties between the related ministries as well as stakeholders, fostering a shared understanding of each other’s digital strategies and supporting their alignment.
