Business Consultations at the 8th Annual Meeting of the Japanese-German ICT Policy Dialogue

The business consultations as part of the 8th Annual Meeting of the Japanese-German ICT Policy Dialogue will be jointly hosted by Vice-Minister for International Affairs Dr. Imagawa Takuo, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) and State Secretary Stefan Schnorr, German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV).
Since 2016, Japan and Germany have maintained a strategic partnership through their annual ICT Policy Dialogue. The collaboration aims to foster technological innovation, advocate for open markets, and establish a robust, secure framework for the global digital economy.
The business consultations will showcase developments in telecommunications, with Japanese and German industry leaders presenting advances in 5G/Open RAN technology, next-generation telecom networks, and ongoing bilateral cooperation initiatives between industrial organizations.
Organizations at the forefront of technological innovation, including Rakuten Symphony, Orex SAI, NICT, Fujitsu, and the DLR Institute for AI Safety & Security, will share insights into their work and current projects.
In-person and online participants can actively engage in discussions with speakers and attendees to identify new collaborative opportunities and strengthen the technological partnership.
