The Indonesian – German Digital Dialogue, on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Digital Transformation and Government Modernisation (BMDS) and the Indonesian Ministry for Communication and Digital Affairs (MCDA), cordially invites you to the Exchange on Startups Digital Ecosystem Landscape Germany – Indonesia.

The rapid growth of the digital economy is reshaping both social and economic structures across the globe. According to the World Bank, the digital economy now accounts for over 15% of global GDP and has grown 2.5 times faster than the traditional economy over the past decade.

To ensure inclusive and balanced digital growth globally, fostering cross-country collaboration and sharing of knowledge are important. To achieve this goal, the exchange will focus on key areas such as digital business development, public service innovation, research and development support and technology investment. The exchange will cover areas of discussion as follows:

• Understanding the digital startup ecosystem landscape and key players in Germany and Indonesia
• Policy and regulatory support for the startup ecosystem in Germany and Indonesia, including government initiatives on innovation hubs, funding mechanism, global collaboration, and regulatory compliance 
• Exploring potential cross-border collaboration in promoting an impact-driven and innovative startup ecosystem
