Hannover Messe 2022: BVMW and NASSCOM strengthen cooperation

Hannover Messe

On 1 June 2022, the German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (BVMW e.V.) and India's National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to deepen their cooperation.

After a long restriction to digital formats, Hannover Messe 2022 opens up new opportunities for networking. The Indo-German Digital Dialogue of the German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV) as well as NASSCOM and BVMW are pleased to invite you to an exchange at the MoU signing.

The Indo-German Digital Dialogue between BMDV and the Indian Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) sets the framework for the cooperation between NASSCOM and BVMW. In addition to the government dialogue, the Digital Dialogue also serves as a stakeholder platform for Indo-German exchange. BVMW and NASSCOM actively participate in this exchange and thus strengthen the cooperation of German and Indian companies. With the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, the intensive cooperation of the associations is cast into an official partnership.

Exchange on the Indo-German partnership for digital transformation

The signing is embedded in an event entitled "Digital transformation journey – made easier by Indo-German partnership" at Hannover Messe. High-ranking political representatives such as Parvathaneni Harish, Ambassador of India to Germany, and Benjamin Brake, Director General Digital and Data Policy at BMDV, will take part.

Afterwards, there will be space for bilateral discussions: German companies can talk to Indian companies from the IT sector that have many years of experience in the digitalisation of business and production processes.

Companies are cordially invited to attend this event on Wednesday, 1 June from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. It will take place in the Bonn Room of the Convention Centre (CC) at Hannover Messe in English. If you are interested or have any questions about this event, please contact Janina Kempf.
