Online workshop: Data spaces in Brazil

Together with the Brazilian Association of Industrial Development (ABDI), the Secretariat for the Brazilian-German Digital Dialogue will host an online workshop on data spaces in Brazil. It will take place on 4 July 2023, 10:00 BRT / 15:00 CEST. You can watch the livestream on the Digital Dialogues’ YouTube channel as well as ABDI’s YouTube channel. The discussion will be held in Portuguese.

The workshop will kick-off a series of debates on data spaces. Data spaces can be understood as decentralised infrastructure that enables data sharing between organisations in a transparent and safe environment. With the exchange series, the Brazilian-German Digital Dialogue aims to build a common understanding of the prospects for establishing dataspace initiatives in Brazil. Stakeholders and decision-makers from both the public and private sector are equally involved in the discussions.

The event is a partnership between ABDI, the Brazilian-German Digital Dialogue, the Brazilian Association of Machinery and Equipment Industry (ABIMAQ), the Brazilian Association of Electrical and Electronic Industry (ABINEE) and the Centre of Organizational Engineering (NEO).
