13th Brazilian Internet Forum: Workshop on platform regulation
On 2 June 2023, the Secretariat for the Brazilian-German Digital Dialogue organised the workshop “Digital platforms: Socioeconomic fundaments, intersectoral prospects and regulatory challenges”. New Work Plan 2023-2024 for the Indo-German Digital Dialogue
On 30 May 2023, the Indian Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and the German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV) signed the new Work Plan of the Indo-German Digital Dialogue for 2023-2024. During the virtual event, Indian Secretary Alkesh Kumar Sharma and German State Secretary Stefan Schnorr agreed to further promote a strong bilateral dialogue on digital policy matters.

Multi-stakeholder discussions at the Regional Forum on Digital Transformation
From 24 May to 26 May 2023, the Regional Forum on Digital Transformation was held at the premises of the Mexican Ministry of Economy (ECONOMIA). The Secretariat for the Mexican-German Digital Dialogue organised two panel discussions together with ECONOMIA and the Mexican Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT).

Stakeholder Consultations for the Digital Dialogues with Japan, Singapore and Korea
On 12 May, the German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV) held first stakeholder consultations for the Digital Dialogues with Japan, Singapore and the Republic of Korea. The ministry invited stakeholders from business, academia and civil society to an open exchange on focus topics that should be discussed within the Digital Dialogues. Representatives of the German embassies in the three countries shared current developments in the countries' digital policies.

Stakeholder Forum International Digital Policy: Thematic consultations
The German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV) initiated the consultation process on Germany's strategy for international digital policy in February 2023. On 9 and 10 May, specific topics of interest were discussed in greater detail during dedicated consultations with German stakeholders.

Kick-off of the Indonesian-German Digital Dialogue at Hannover Messe
On 19 April 2023, the first Annual Meeting of the Indonesian-German Digital Dialogue took place at Hannover Messe. The German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV) and the Indonesian Ministry of Communications and Informatics (MCI) exchanged the Joint Declaration of Intent, which was signed by both ministers, and agreed on the Work Plan for the Digital Dialogue. More than 40 representatives from politics, business and civil society took part on site to exchange on the digital policy cooperation.

Indo-German discussion round on data policy
Dr Rudolf Gridl, Director General of the Central Department at the German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV), recently visited India. On March 6, he participated in a roundtable discussion on current data policy frameworks. The Secretariat for the Indo-German Digital Dialogue and the German Embassy New Delhi jointly organised the event. Participants from think tanks, academia and the private sector painted a holistic picture on the state of data policy in India and related opportunities and challenges.

BMDV visits India to exchange on digital public services
Dr Rudolf Gridl, Director General of the Central Department at the German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV), visited New Delhi on 6 and 7 March 2023. His aim was an exchange on the digitalisation of government administration and digital public services. BMDV and the Indian Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) organised the delegation visit within the framework of the Indo-German Digital Dialogue.
